What This Is and Isn't

A little disclaimer might be in order to tell you what this blog is and what it isn't.

What it isn't:
*It isn't politically correct. It likely will not be agreed upon by people on both sides of the aisle all the time.
*It isn't professional advice. I'm not a doctor. Or a lawyer. Or a professor. Or a counselor. Or a professional chef. Or a Religious Sister. (Obviously I'm not a priest).  I'm just an everyday, ordinary mom.
*It isn't Martha Stewart or Dr. Sears or Mary Poppins or June Cleaver or Sister Angelica.
*It isn't glamorous.

What it is:
*It is real life. Homework frustrations. Death. Illness. Joy. Milestones.
*It is real faith. The questions I have. The answers I've found.
*It is real dirt and grit and grime. I'm talking puking kids, messy playrooms.
*My words. My heart. My soul.

Everything you see on here unless otherwise noted is completely my opinion and my understanding of things. I'll swear I'm sure. I'll talk about God and Christ while saying that getting the kids out the door dressed and ready for mass most weeks feels like I'm at the threshold of hell. I won't intentionally seek out to offend anyone. I will try to open your hearts and minds. I will pray the Holy Spirit opens my heart and mind.

If you  like what you see, stay a while. If you don't, watch for legos on the floor as you step away.
